FEE:	$10 (at the match)
RULES:	NOTICE: This is a match for competition; not a training session for those who don't know how to handle firearms! Competitors should know the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship and firearm safety. The rules will be announced at the match and can be found at the CMP’s web site at www.odcmp.com/competitions/rulebook.pdf
EQUIPMENT::	Any “as issued” .30 cal American service rifle such as the M1 Garand, 1903 Springfield, 1917 Enfield, 1941 Johnson, M1 Carbine and U.S.  Krag. The rifles must have military stocks, sights and slings. Loaner Garands will be available to shooters.
SQUADDING:	8:30 A.M. Firing points for advance-registered competitors will be held until 5 minutes prior to the beginning of the relay. Range capacity limits this match to 30 competitors, 10 per relay. Preference will be given to those firing on multiple relays. Relay number one begins at 9:15 A.M. Relay number two (if needed) would begin at 9:30 A.M. Relay number three (if needed) would begin at 10 A.M.
COURSE:	John Garand Match, Course A at 200 yds.
	First stage:   Slow fire prone, 5 sighters, 10 record shots, 15 min.
	Second stage:   Rapid fire prone from standing, 10 record shots 70 sec.
	Third Stage: Slow fire standing, 10 record shots, 10 min.
AMMO:	Lake City surplus 30-06 ammo will be available to shooters for $7.50/20 rounds.  Those using the loaner rifles will be required to purchase and use this ammo.

AWARDS:	Cash prizes will be awarded. Competitors will be mailed a CMP certificate for eligibility to purchase surplus rifles, ammo and accessories.
